You'll find that Tyco's benefits and compensation programs balance the needs of Tyco employees with our business needs so that we can provide opportunities and stability-and a promising future. Here's a review of some of the benefits programs available to you:

Retirement Savings and Investment Plan
Tyco offers a competitive 401(K) savings program, plus a generous match. You have the opportunity to invest your 401(k) balance in as many as 17 Investment Options, including company stock.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan
As a full-time or part-time employee, you are eligible to participate in the plan. (Employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement may participate if permitted by the agreement.) You can begin participation at any time. Part-time employees who are seasonal or interns are not eligible to participate.

Health Care
Affordable health care coverage that includes 100% coverage for most office visits after a small co-payment, as well as competitive coverage for hospital, surgery and more. Plus, you can obtain prescription drugs at your pharmacy or by mail for a low co-payment. Tyco also offers dental coverage, including orthodontia for children.

Life, accident, and disability insurance
Tyco provides basic life insurance coverage equal to your salary at no cost to you. You may also elect additional coverage, coverage for other family members, and coverage in the event of accidents. Tyco offers long-term disability coverage at favorable group rates.

Benefits to help make life easier
Tyco offers a number of other benefits that help make living and working in today's world easier - from help with adopting a child, interest-free loans to buy a computer, to assistance with locating child care and other family and personal issues through our Employee Assistance Program.

Tuition reimbursement
All of our businesses reimburse tuition for pre-approved business and technical college courses. Interested in graduate work? Our tuition reimbursement program even lets you pursue graduate work while you work full-time.

Benefits described above are U.S. specific. Outside of the U.S. Tyco provides its employees with those benefits applicable under country law.
