Internship and Co-op Programs

Tyco offers a variety of Internship and Co-op programs across multiple business segments. Here is a brief description of what defines an Internship and Co-op.

Internship:

  • Students who are currently pursuing a degree from an accredited University/College.
  • Internship duration is generally three months, set at the beginning of the assignment and may be extended or shortened based on company needs.
  • May work part time during academic year and full time during summer.

Co-op:

  • Students who are currently enrolled in their College or University's Co-op Program, while pursuing a degree.
  • Required to apply classroom knowledge to actual work situations to gain relevant, hands-on work experience, and receive academic credits from the University.
  • Generally full time and assignments usually last a 4 to 8 month duration through spring, summer, and fall.
  • Co-op assignments generally alternate between academic terms, until the student completes the degree program.
