Real world experience, breakthrough opportunities – learn more about Tyco’s Campus Partnership Programs:
University Global Engineering Programs
Working in partnership with professors from the Pennsylvania State University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, employees from Tyco developed the University Global Engineering Program to provide students with real-world experience designing products for the global market. Students are given the opportunity to join Tyco engineering teams for at least one semester to design specifications and develop proofs of concept for future Tyco product releases.
Shanghai Jiao Tong University Scholarship
Through the Shanghai Jiao Tong scholarship program, Tyco looks to advance technology and talent development in China by supporting local undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarships offered through this program reward students with outstanding achievements in academic excellence, innovation through design projects and case competitions, and teamwork to overcome challenges and accomplish goals together. A designated portion of the Tyco scholarship is to provide financial aid to students in need and to encourage women in the engineering profession.
Howard University 21st Century Advantage Program
Through the Howard University 21st Century Advantage Program, Tyco joins some of the nation’s leading corporations in sponsoring students from the Howard University School of Business. In an effort to prepare students for their transition to working in real-world business environments, Tyco aims to provide future graduates with a comprehensive business and management education through workshops, seminars and leadership retreats.
MentorNet
In partnership with MentorNet, Tyco’s post-doctoral leaders and experienced professionals pair with undergraduate and graduate students through One-on-One Mentoring and help student achieve their professional goals towards the advancement of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
